How we use cookies.
Short version: one opt-out cookie, one PostHog session cookie. No ad networks, no fingerprinting.

01
What cookies we use
We set two things ourselves: binforge_no_track (a cookie that records your analytics opt-out preference, stored for 10 years) and binforge_cookie_consent (your consent record, stored in localStorage, not a cookie). That's it from us.
02
PostHog cookies
PostHog (our analytics provider) sets ph_* cookies to maintain session tracking across page loads. PostHog is EU-hosted. No personal data is associated with these cookies. If you opt out, PostHog cookies are not set.
03
How to opt out
Visit any page with ?notrack in the URL, or click Decline on the cookie banner. Either action sets binforge_no_track=1 and calls posthog.opt_out_capturing(). This is a persistent opt-out that survives browser restarts.
04
Third-party cookies
Google Fonts CDN (used on the marketing site for Inter Tight and JetBrains Mono) may set cookies per Google's privacy policy. We have no control over those. The editor itself uses system fonts and makes no Google Fonts requests.
